Hello! I’m Claudia – writer of (this) blog, maker of knits, wrangler of two teenage boys, companion to a psycho dog, wife to my beloved, reader of young adult fiction, constant Francophile, and lover of chocolate.

I was born in Lima, Peru, where I lived until I turned thirteen – then we moved to California. After thirty years in the Bay Area, my husband, sons, and I took a leap of faith and moved to the Midwest. We now live in beautiful Wisconsin where we play Dungeons & Dragons with our friends, enjoy the four seasons, and can actually afford a nice house.
